When shooting with a Christmas Tree in the Background or with Christmas lights, is interesting to keep some distance between the subject and the background, by doing that you can capture the nice colors of the lights making it look much more interesting,\u00a0<\/p>

By keeping your distance you can also achieve a nicer effect by adjusting your perspective and allowing you to have the whole tree and the magical effect of the Christmas.<\/span><\/p>

When we want to capture the lights on the background is important that you keep your shutter speed as low as possible as it will allow the camera to capture more of the light, with the sensor being exposed for more time.\u00a0<\/p>

In the other hand is also important to make sure that your shutter speed is not too low as it can create a movement on the photo that is not good for the sharpness of your image.\u00a0<\/p>

The Bokeh Effect is a very used tool and it gives the images that beautiful look of a dream.<\/p>

To achieve that you have to use a more wider Aperture Number (like 5.6 or lower) and its also crucial that you keep a good distance between your subject and the background as this will also make the background to be not focused and all of the small lights to become big nice light balls behind your subject like the Image bellow:<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

When using the flash to take photos close to the Christmas lights is very important that you put your subject closer to you and far from the lights as the flash will most of the times take the light effects out and the tree will not look nice as well.<\/p>
